As more dates are being added my heart is sinking further and further as I become gradually more terrified that the band aren't gonna make a stop in Canada!
This is the only outlet where I felt I could rightfully share my worries.
I will weep for weeks and weeks if I'm not able to see them! Seriously, this is gonna keep me up at night! |

I live in Toronto/Montréal... but if there was even a New York date I'd endure the 11 hour train ride because it would be worth it.
I'll beg you guys. Hands and knees; the whole bit. |

I agree, Humming. As I see more and more dates added, I fear it means it's less and less likely we'll see Portishead in Canada, or even in a part of the States that would be in my (and it seems, your) region. (eg. New York, Boston, Detroit, Chicago.) And what about our poor brethern in the central provinces? Pity to the Portishead fans in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba, the three that generally get forgotten by the majority of concerts.
I'm so elated by the news of a new album, and yet disappointed that I most likely won't get to see them. |

| A little late, but living in Ottawa most artists just go left and right to Toronto and Montreal and skip us, if Portishead we're to come to Ottawa I'd go as far as to pay 250$ for tickets. |

| it hardly occured to me that they might not come to canada; following thier self-titled album, i saw them in vancouver and they seemed to enjoy playing to a full and hungry crowd, so why wouldn't they return? sadly, it appears they've announced all of the dates for thier tour, so for the time being it's coachella or bust, where they'll maybe gt a 45 minute set with mediocre sound - i can't reason that one out. really, truly disappointing. |

At least MTL is only a couple hours from Ottawa! A bus ride and a hostel would be alot less than 250 dollars tickets.
A transatlantic plane ride is a different story |
